The style of my work varies, depending on the materials I use and the techniques. I feel that to appreciate my work properly, one needs to have a frame of reference; by which I mean, knowledge of a cross section of other artists who were and are practitioners of abstract painting.
In terms of reference, a random spectrum of artists might be some of the American abstract Expressionists: Kline, deKooning or Pollock say; though having mentioned Pollock, my paintings don't really relate to 'action painting, I 'take out and put back' until I get what I want.
Just to throw in a couple of British artists, I could also mention Peter Lanyon or Ben Nicholson and coming more up to date, Howard Hodgkin - all different.

What am I describing in my paintings? Well, sometimes something and sometimes nothing, which makes them either abstracts or orchestrations, and in some the abstracted link is tenuous - no matter! The links can be intellectual or fun. Individuals can make their own associations, or enjoy the work at an aesthetic level; or both.

My immediate aim is to secure a dealer with both an educated eye and enthusiasm who is able to champion my work and obviously sell it.
Lastly, and something very important to me, would be the placing of some of my very few remaining figurative painting's from the 1980's in establishments such as municipal art galleries in any part of the the world. These works represent part of the history of my development and I would like to share them and have them enjoyed by as many people as possible.
